Portuguese daily newspaper Correio da Manha is reporting that Real Madrid have made another check on latest target Carlos Martins.
Los Blancos were thoroughly impressed with the performance the 21-year-old produced at Santiago Bernabeu a month ago, and they seem determined to bring him to Madrid in the near future.
According to Correio da Manha, Real Madrid scouts were present at Estadio Jose Alvalade as Sporting CP suffered a 2-1 loss to Borussia Dortmund, with Martins playing full ninety minutes.
The problem is that los Blancos are not the only top side showing interest in the talented winger, as the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United are keen as well.
Oddly enough, Martins remains one of the lowest paid footballers in the Sporting CP first team, and Real Madrid could try to agree a deal for his services before he is rewarded with a new and improved contract by his current employers.
