European powerhouses Real Madrid and Manchester United are among clubs keeping close tabs on Sporting CP winger Gelson Martins, Record has suggested.
While showing some promise last season as well, the 21-year-old shone in the Champions League opener against los Blancos at Santiago Bernabeu, and has since been linked with quite a few top clubs.
Record claims that Real Madrid and Manchester United are keen on the talented winger and they will have their scouts present tonight when Sporting CP face Legia Warsaw at Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Gelson Martins caused los Blancos defenders all sorts of problems at the Bernabeu, proving that he is ready for the biggest stage, although his suitors obviously want to make sure he can produce those kinds of performances on regular basis.
The youngster has so far scored 2 goals in 6 Primeira Liga outings this season, and it is clear that he has a bright future in the game.
