Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez met to discuss a number of players that Los Blancos will look to sign in the summer, according to the Express.
The Madrid club have had a poor start to this La Liga season and currently sit in fifth place, seven points behind rivals Barcelona. With a number of players likely to depart in the summer Zidane is already looking at areas to strengthen, and six players have been established as targets for next summer.
Harry Kane and Paulo Dybala are the first names on the list and could become long-term replacements for Los Blancos’ ageing forwards. Zidane is also seeking a goalkeeper as Keylor Navas has never been viewed as a long-term option in the Spanish capital. David de Gea is the desired option, and the Manchester United shot stopped almost joined Real in the summer of 2015, but Thibault Courtois is another option being considered.
The final area of concern is defence and Real Sociedad right back Alvaro Odriozola is being targeted as a potential backup for Dani Carvajal. Bilbao’s talented French centre back Aymeric Laporte is also being considered after long-time Madrid servant Pepe departed in the summer.
