Spanish newspapers are reporting this week that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been disappointed by Isco’s declining form this season, adding that Frenchman is prepared to let the Spanish international leave during the summer transfer window.
With James Rodriguez leaving for Bayern Munich last summer, Isco was expected to be given a more prominent role with Los Blancos during the current campaign.
The 25-year-old failed to seize the opportunity and ended up disappointing Zidane, who is said to be a keen admirer of Isco’s talents.
Nevertheless, Diario AS claim that the French legend will sell the Spaniard next summer if he remains the manager of the reigning Spanish and European champions.
Real Madrid are sitting in fourth place in the La Liga standings and face a season-defining Champions League clash against PSG. Los Blancos can be backed at 5/4 betting odds to beat the French heavyweights in the first leg at Santiago Bernabeu next week.
