Spanish daily newspaper Marca has suggested that Real Madrid are hot on the trail of Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
It is no secret that chairman Florentino Perez is not happy with Keylor Navas and he plans to recruit a new shot-stopper in the near future.
According to Marca, the president and head coach Zinedine Zidane have agreed that Kepa Arrizabalaga has the quality to take over from the Costa Rican.
The best thing here is that Real Madrid won’t even need to pay a lot of money for the 23-year-old given that his contract is due to expire in June 2018.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is another impressive product of Athletic’s youth academy and he has so far made 29 La Liga appearances.
Following a successful spell with Spain’s Under-21 side, Kepa became a regular member of the senior national team, although he has yet to be handed his La Furia Roja debut.
