Real Madrid rekindle interest in Harry Kane

The Champions League winners Real Madrid are said to be planning a January transfer assault on Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Los Blancos have already been linked with the Spurs striker during the summer transfer window but Kane remained in London and extended his deal with the Premier League side until 2024.

Mundo Deportivo claims Real Madrid will not be discouraged by his unavailability and could go up to a fee close to €200 million to get the highly-rated forward.

Real Madrid are enduring a difficult time both in Spain and in Europe this season. Los Blancos seem to have lost their cutting edge with Cristiano Ronaldo moving to Juventus and will need to find a quick solution to their striking woes.

Karim Benzema had a great start to the campaign by scoring four goals in two games but has been without a goal for the last six matches in all competitions.

Therefore, Real Madrid have once again turned to Kane who already has five goals in seven league games, while he also managed to get on the scoresheet in a 4-2 defeat against Barcelona in the Champions League.
