Real Madrid remain interested in signing Manchester United’s David De Gea despite offering to double fellow goalkeeper Kelyor Navas’ wages, according to the Express.
The Spanish giants have long been linked with a move to the Spain international, who began his career with their neighbours Atletico but have so far been unsuccessful with their approaches.
During his time with Atleti, he racked up eighty-five appearances in all competitions and was part of the squad that won both the Europa League and Super Cup in 2010.
Since arriving at Old Trafford he has emerged into one of the best goalkeepers in Europe, playing two hundred and thirty-three times and winning both the Premier League and the FA Cup.
Internationally, he has been capped fifteen times for his country and was part of their squads for both the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil and this summers European Championships in France.
