According to AS, European champions Real Madrid could be preparing for a busy end to the summer transfer window. The Spanish giants are said to be interested in signing another striker as well as a centre-back before the window officially shuts in Spain, with new boss Julen Lopetegui also said to be considering a move for a new midfielder after Mateo Kovacic went out on loan to Chelsea.
Real, who won the Champions League final back in May against Liverpool, are aiming to bounce back from the disappointment of losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. While they still have an incredibly strong squad the departure of Zinedine Zidane has left fans with more questions than answers, and it seems as if we could get some of those answers in the weeks to come.
Lopetegui, who was once said to be close to joining Wolverhampton Wanderers as their new manager, is preparing his squad for the UEFA Super Cup against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
