Spanish media outlet Marca are doing it again.
Out of nowhere as it would seem, the Spanish daily has spread the word on Real Madrid’s plan to reignite their interest for Manchester United shot stopper David de Gea.
It was one of the biggest transfer stories in recent football history and the second part of the transfer soap opera is alive and kicking again with reports claiming that Los Blancos have once again set sights on the Spanish goalkeeper, who is now eyed as an alternative for Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois.
Real Madrid are tipped to make an approach to Blues goalkeeper, who is believed to be keen on a return to Spain, but in case they fail in their attempt it is believed that Spanish giants will test Mourinho’s resolve with an offer of around €65 million.
Manchester United, on their own part, are keen to extend De Gea’s contract and tie him down until 2019.
