Real Madrid still want Eriksen

According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid have not given up on their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen. The Dane has spent what feels like the last few years of his career being heavily linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, but nothing, up to this point, has quite come of it. 

That’s all expected to change sooner rather than later, though, with Real looking into the possibility of offering Eriksen a contract during the January transfer window – at which point he will have just six months left on his deal in North London. 

It doesn’t feel as if Tottenham are willing to allow him to leave on a free, but either way, Real are going to try and get the best deal they possibly can. 

In terms of negotiations between the two parties, it truly does feel like this is only just the beginning for them.
