Real Madrid still want Ruiz

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Real Madrid are in fact still interested in going after the signing of Napoli star Fabian Ruiz. The midfielder is a highly sought after prospect and has been for quite some time now, with Real repeatedly making their interest in him known to the Italian giants. The report goes on to suggest that Real have actually put aside €70 million, with the expectation being that they’ll put forward a bid during the summer transfer window.

Ruiz has been a source of great intrigue across European football in the last year or so, with Napoli doing everything they can to keep hold of him. With more and more teams making their interest known and Real offering large fees to sign him, Napoli could be forced into a situation where they either take the money or face a lot of questions from fans who would probably wonder whether or not the money in question could be invested elsewhere.
