According to a recent report from the Mirror, Real Madrid are holding up Manchester United’s proposed signing of Sergio Reguilon.
The belief is that Real are dragging their heels over an insistence of a buyback clause, clearly recognising that there is some serious potential in what Reguilon can bring to the table at the Bernabeu if he’s given a few more years to shine.
United aren’t happy with the delay in getting a deal done, and they seem to feel like Real have come out of the blue with this added incentive.
While they’ve already had a few notable moments of joy during the summer transfer window, the Red Devils are still in need of a few more signings before fans can start to feel confident ahead of the new campaign.
Reguilon was supposed to be a part of that and he still can be, but they’ll need to hurry up.
