Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce insists they will not sell Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia in the January transfer window.
Bruce insists he will not let any further players leave the JJB Stadium in January, following Emile Heskey’s move to Aston Villa and Wilson Palacios move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Antonio Valencia has been linked with several big clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
He said in The People: “I am the manager of the club that is always going to lose our better player when the big boys come in.
“But I won’t be losing three players this month.”
