With the Premier League season fastly approaching, a very unhappy Jose Mourinho will know his sides form must improve if they want to improve the atmosphere around Old Trafford. On Wednesday, Manchester United will face off against Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup.

Starting with last years Premier League runners-ups, with United coming off the back of an embarrassing 4-1 loss to bitter rivals Liverpool last week, Red Devil’s boss Jose Mourinho has been incredibly critical of his side and many fear the Red half of Manchester could be in for a lackluster year. Along with a disappointing performance against Inter Millan in their opening ICC outing, where they needed penalties to get the win, United have also slumped to draws with San Jose Earthquakes and Club America in their opening friendly matches of their tour. While we do beleive United will find the net, on paper it appears to be another very difficult evening for the Portuguese tactician.

As for Real Madrid, while boss Zinedine Zidane may have been replaced by former Spanish manager Julen Lopetegui two months ago, The Whites claimed their third Champions League title on the bounce and will be desperate to close the gap to rivals Barcelona in La Liga. Even without Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks, Los Blancos will be traveling to Florida with a star-studded squad that includes Kaylor Navas, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Toni Kross. Given the gulf in class between the two sides on tour, we’re backing Real to add more pressure onto their one-time boss.
