Real Madrid are being linked with a late bid for Napoli full-back Faouzi Ghoulam, according to AS.
Los Blancos have seen starting left-back Marcelo pick up a muscle injury and with Fabio Coentrao struggling for form after the lengthy injury lay-off, they are exploring the possibility of recruiting a new left sided defender before the January window draws to a close.
AS claims that Real Madrid will probably make a move on long-term target Faouzi Ghoulam, who is believed to be considering his options.
Namely, the Algerian has another 18 months left on his current deal at Stadio San Paolo, while both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are showing interest in his services.
If Ghoulam refuses to extend his contract with the Azzurri, the club chiefs will have no choice but to consider serious offers for his services in the final hours of the January transfer window.
