Spanish giants Real Madrid are ready to submit an official proposal for AS Roma playmaker Miralem Pjanic, according to Marca.
Los Blancos believe the Bosnian’s arrival would seriously improve the current squad and they hope to wrap up the deal in the January window.
Real Madrid officials have informed Pjanic of their interest and they now need to try and reach an agreement with AS Roma.
Even though Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also keen on the Bosnia star, it is believed that the 25-year-old has set his sights on a move to Santiago Bernabeu.
AS Roma have long ago set their asking price to €45 million, but los Blancos chairman Florentino Perez is expected to give the green light for the transfer to go through.
Miralem Pjanic has been the Giallorossi’s star performer this term, having managed impressive 7 goals and 5 assists in 15 Serie A appearances, but his spell at Stadio Olimpico could be drawing to a close.
