Champions League holders Real Madrid are not giving up on Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, according to L’Equipe.
It is their bitter rivals Barcelona who are believed to be leading the chase, having recently met with the player and his representatives.
However, Real Madrid are not prepared to drop their interest just yet as they believe Griezmann would be a great addition to the squad.
Both chairman Florentino Perez and head coach Zinedine Zidane value the Frenchman highly and would like to see him at Santiago Bernabeu.
