According to a recent report from El Desmarque, Real Madrid are going to hold out for around £30 million from Arsenal in order for the Gunners to make Dani Ceballos’ loan move a permanent one. Ceballos has had a decent enough start to life at the Emirates since arriving in the summer, but has only actually made four starts in Unai Emery’s first team. He seems to be adapting to life in the Premier League fairly well up to this point, but in truth, he needs to be given a full season before Arsenal can properly analyse whether or not he is able to make a consistent career for himself over in English football.
Real probably don’t need the money all that badly, but they’ll want to ensure that they can get a suitable return on a player that once upon a time was viewed as a future starter for the club.
