Real Madrid to make move for Ruiz

According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid are getting closer and closer to making an official move for Fabian Ruiz of Napoli. The midfielder has been on the radar of Zinedine Zidane for quite some time now, but despite this, it doesn’t seem as if Napoli are 100% on board with the idea. They have no intention of cashing in on the 23 year old, who made the move over from Real Betis during last year’s summer transfer window. Zidane has been used to getting what he wants during the current transfer window after making a series of high profile moves for Real, but it doesn’t appear as if he’s going to be able to bully Napoli into the sale on this occasion.

If he does, you’d have to imagine that it would take a great deal of persuasion – and in addition to that, Madrid would almost certainly have to pay over the odds.
