Real Madrid to prioritise Eriksen

According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid are set to prioritise the potential signing of Christian Eriksen during the summer transfer window. The Dane’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur will expire in 2020, with many fans believing that he’s already got one foot out of the door. Real have made no secret of the fact that they’re interested in signing him, and now that Zinedine Zidane has returned to the club, it seems like the desire to bring him to the Bernabeu has strengthened. Real have a history of going after some of Tottenham’s biggest stars in recent times, with two notable examples being Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.

Eriksen first joined Spurs back in 2013, when he made the jump over from Dutch club Ajax. Ever since then he’s been able to establish himself as one of the top attacking midfielders in European football, and as well as that, he’s also considered to be one of the biggest and best stars in his homeland of Denmark.
