Real Madrid to pursue Reguilon already?

According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid are planning to activate their buy-back clause for Sergio Reguilon pretty quickly.

The defender may have only been in North London for a minute but it already seems as if he’s doing something right, because Real want to bring him back over to the Bernabeu as early as summer 2021. The club have been closely watching his form as of late and while Spurs have struggled to start the new Premier League season, Reguilon is still an exciting prospect – and he’s only 23.

Real had the definition of a quiet summer transfer window by their own standards but that probably isn’t going to hold up as the months go on. They have the potential to go after any player they want in world football and if Reguilon can’t find success at Spurs in his first year, that could have big repercussions for this possible move.
