“There are a lot of players here who can be sold. They are all very good and many clubs want Real Madrid players, that is not new”.
Those are the words of Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, who made it pretty clear that fans should expect a mass exodus during the upcoming summer transfer window. It’s no secret that the Frenchman wants to try and build his first team squad back up from the ground, following a pretty poor season by their standards. Real have failed to recapture the kind of form that has made them European champions for the last three years, which is likely one of the primary reasons why Zidane was brought back into the fold. The likes of Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez have already been heavily linked with moves away from Madrid, but in addition to that, there’s any number of fringe players that are dying to get some regular first team football.
