According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Spanish giants Real Madrid are going to have to pay Kylian Mbappe a huge salary in order to lure him away from Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman will reportedly require a salary of around £12.8 million per year in order to sign on the dotted line with Zinedine Zidane’s men, which some will argue is ‘too much’ – even in the modern era.
Mbappe is considered to be Zidane’s primary focus when it comes to transfers, and it’s not exactly hard to understand why. The youngster put in a series of world class performances last summer to help France win the World Cup, putting himself on the map as one of the best footballers on the planet.
In the mind of many fans the natural next step would be for him to leave PSG in search of a move to one of the best clubs on the planet.
That, of course, is where Real come in.
