Real Madrid to spend over £400m in summer?

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Spanish giants Real Madrid are willing to spend in excess of £400 million in order to bring some fresh faces into their squad during the summer transfer window. Now that Zinedine Zidane has re-taken his position at the helm of the club, it always did seem like just a matter of time before they started flaunting some money around again.

There are three players, in particular, that they’ve got their eyes on: Paul Pogba, Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe. Hazard seems like the most likely arrival at the Bernabeu given how many rumours there have been regarding him making the switch, whereas Mbappe and Pogba could be a little bit trickier.

They would both demand incredible fees and whilst Real won’t be shy when it comes to forking out that kind of cash, it could always come back to bite them in the long run if they aren’t careful.
