Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane wants loanee Jesus Vallejo back to the club at the earliest opportunity, Bild has revealed.
After joining the club from Real Zaragoza, the 19-year-old spent one season on loan at La Romareda before signing a one-year loan deal with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The centre-back has largely impressed in his maiden Bundesliga campaign, making nine appearances for the club, helping the team keep four clean sheets in the process.
Real Madrid officials have been closely monitoring the youngster’s performances in Germany and they will now attempt to cut short the loan spell due to latest injury crisis.
Namely, los Blancos are desperately short of options at the back following injuries to Sergio Ramos and Pepe, and they would be delighted to welcome Vallejo back to the squad in January.
However, this is only possible if Eintracht agree to such an arrangement, and they will certainly require a fitting compensation.
