The Daily Mail is reporting that Real Madrid are seriously thinking about recruiting Chelsea’s Eden Hazard in the summer transfer window.
It’s been a while since Los Blancos signed the last Galactico player and chairman Florentino Perez seems determined to make the Belgian the world’s most expensive footballer.
This means that the BBC trio will have to be broken up, with Karim Benzema almost certain to lose his place in the side.
Considering that Cristiano Ronaldo is 32 now, Hazard could one day take over from the Portuguese, in which case a world-class centre forward would be signed.
Chelsea will obviously be looking to keep hold of their star player, especially since Diego Costa is heavily linked with a summer exit, but it remains to be seen whether the Belgian footballer will resist the lure of moving to Santiago Bernabeu.
After a very difficult season last term, Eden Hazard is now back to his best and he managed 11 goals and 4 assists in 26 Premier League fixtures.
