(GSM) – Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has promised that the team’s performances will improve as the season progresses ahead of their trip to Levante.
Madrid have picked up 10 points from their opening four league games and moved to the top of the Primera Division standings this week for the first time under new manager José Mourinho after beating Espanyol 3-0.
However, despite the good results, Madrid’s performances have not impressed their demanding supporters.
But Spain’s World Cup-winning defender insists his side’s performances will improve with time, saying: “We are picking up points and showing we are a consistent team, which at this stage of the season are the most important things.
“We want to continue improving and give a better image of ourselves to the fans, and for that we are working hard every day. We are getting better.”
Real’s opponents Levante have made a poor start for the season after losing their three opening games in which they conceded 10 goals.
However, the Valencia-based club managed to run out victorious in their last outing against Almería after battling for a 1-0 win, but Real are surely looking to impress their fans in what should be a one-sided encounter.
