Gareth Bale stirred quite a lot of dust with Real Madrid fans a few months ago when he posed for a photo beside a banner which read “Wales, Golf, Madrid. In that order.”
Media in Spain have made a lot of his affinity towards golf, trying to push a narrative about the Wales international not being willing to adapt to life in Spain much, and they may get a good kick out of this one, but as for Bale himself… It looks like he’s quite enjoying the whole staying at home business.
