According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Real Madrid have decided to stay silent during the upcoming January transfer window, making no mid-season additions to their squad.
Apparently, head coach Carlo Ancelotti has plenty of faith in the players currently at his command and is more than happy to address any potential problem that may arise with solutions within. As for potential departure, the Spanish giants will not prevent any player from leaving if he chooses to do so, but there has been no such indication from anyone in the squad and the club will not force anyone out. Players like Dani Ceballos and Nacho had opportunities to leave, but they chose to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu and fight for game time.
On the other hand, Real are expected to make major moves in the transfer market in the summer. Their primary target remains Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, and they’re also reportedly keen on Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies.
