Competition: Premier League
Market: Di Maria to join Man Utd
Odds: 4/7 @ Betfair

With Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti revealing that winger Angel Di Maria wanted the leave the side, Manchester United are now in pole position for his signature. Paris Saint-Germain were previously close to capturing him this summer, but they pulled out of the deal due, citing that Real Madrid wanted too much money for the Argentine.

But with Manchester United desperate for some world-class talent to better their fortunes in the Premier League this season, the 26-year-old is being given odds of 4/7 to join the Red Devils. Last season, he made an impressive 17 assists, while creating more than 90 chances for his teammates.

He helped Los Blancos to the Champions League and Copa Del Rey in 2013/14, but saw the club sign Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez, which meant he would be even further down the pecking order. As a result, Di Maria has taken it upon himself to ask the club to be allowed to leave to find regular first-team, football elsewhere.
