Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira 1/2 to join Arsenal with summer move back on the cards

With reports suggesting Real Madrid are looking to cash in on midfielder Sami Khedira this summer, Arsenal are backing in the running for his signature.

They will have competition from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, who are looking to replace Toni Kroos, who left to join Real recently, but the German side apparently want Khedira when his deal runs down with the Spaniards next summer.

As Arsenal are willing to pay to sign the 27-year-old now, Betfair are giving odds of 1/2 for Khedira to join the Gunners this summer. He’s a talented midfielder and would give some real class to Arsenal’s spine, as Mikel Arteta & Mathieu Flamini have been questionable against the top sides in the league last season.

However, the Khedira deal could go until deadline day according to numerous sources, so Arsenal supporters may be waiting a few more weeks before his future is resolved.
