Real move still possible for Maicon – agent

(GSM) – Internazionale defender Maicon could still move to Real Madrid before the start of the season, his agent underlined.

It was thought Real stalled their interest to sign the Brazilian right-back given their refusal to meet Inter’s €35 million asking price.

However, Maicon’s agent Antonio Caliendo has again opened the door for an exit from the Giuseppe Meazza.

“It seems that things have gone cold, especially as everyone is concentrated on the Mario Balotelli situation and this please me – it means Maicon can enjoy his holidays in peace,” Caliendo noted.

“However, the Real Madrid option for my client has not collapsed. History has taught us that the summer transfer window often closes with a bang!”

It’s also understood that Manchester City are still keen on the former Monaco player.
