Real Madrid are in the process of preparing an official proposal for Borussia Dortmund’s consideration regarding the proposed transfer of Jude Bellingham, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 19-year-old midfielder was on the radar of several top clubs, and at one point, Liverpool were believed to be leading the race, but the moment the Merseysiders withdrew their interest due to a huge valuation of the player by Dortmund, Real became the favourites for his signature, ahead of Manchester City.
Bellingham has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants, and the transfer going through now depends on the negotiation process between Real and Dortmund. The demands of the Bundesliga club are believed to be set on a figure of €150 million.
Apparently, at Real they’re willing to wait for the Bundesliga title race to be resolved before actually presenting their offer, out of respect for Dortmund’s focus on snatching the title away from Bayern Munich.
