Real Madrid will be sending scouts to keep an eye on Donny van de Beek, Hakim Ziyech and David Neres, according to AS.
The Spanish giants were heavily linked with Van de Beek along with Christian Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur over the summer as they considered possible alternatives to Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. However, they didn’t make any concrete steps to try and sign the 22-year-old midfielder, with head coach Zinedine Zidane reportedly not interested in anyone but Pogba. Ziyech and Neres were linked with a host of clubs across Europe, having impressed in Ajax’s run to the Champions League semifinal last season; not least when the Dutch side saw off Real in the round of 16.
The 13-time European champions are struggling at the moment, with their most-expensive signing of the summer Eden Hazard not yet firing fully. They are consequently looking at various possibilities when it comes to the upcoming transfer windows, and the Ajax trio are apparently among them.
