Real set for £240m Mbappe bid

According to a recent report from France Football, Real Madrid are confident in their ability to secure the signing of Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe this summer. The Spanish giants are reportedly gearing up for a major £240 million bid, in a move that would shatter the world transfer record. Real have made no secret of the fact that they want to rebuild in a big way during the transfer window, as Zinedine Zidane attempts to guide them back to the top of the European and Spanish ladder. Neymar and Eden Hazard are two other big names that have been linked with moves to the Bernabeu, but at this moment in time, Mbappe seems like he could be the frontrunner. The Hazard deal is said to be on the verge of completion already, whereas Neymar’s move may be a bit more unlikely – especially if his PSG teammate Mbappe leaves, which seems progressively more likely.
