According to Spanish outlet El Desmarque, Real Madrid are preparing to make an offer for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Pogba’s future has been the subject of much speculation since his controversial statement that it would be a “dream” for any player to play for Real. Many reports appeared during the summer about his possible departure from Old Trafford, mentioning a return to Juventus as one of the options as well. Meanwhile, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been playing down the rumours all the time, constantly repeating that he wants Pogba in his team.
However, it may prove difficult to keep the services of the French midfielder unless United return to the top of English football, and at the moment, it’s not looking good. That, meanwhile, works both ways apparently, with Real’s bid, which would consist of Gareth Bale plus £90 million, hanging on whether the form of Pogba himself improves as the season moves along.
