Real Sociedad travel to face fellow strugglers Sporting Gijon in the Spanish La Liga tonight, and could well come away with all three points given the recent form of the two sides.

Home side Gijon are currently 19th in La Liga after 19 games. They have won just four games all season and are two points adrift of safety ahead of Friday evening’s clash. Victory over Sociedad would see them finish the day outside of the drop zone, but given they have lost five on the bounce it’s unlikely they’ll come out on top, even at home.
