La Liga side Real Sociedad have officially signed Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya after being given a special permission from the league officials.
With Gero Rulli sidelined with injury and Tono Martinez being unable to seal a permanent first-team place, Real Sociedad made signing of a goalkeeper their top priority and were able to secure a deal for the 33-year-old shot stopper outside the transfer window after being given special dispensation.
Miguel Angel Moya has already passed his medicals and agreed on a two-and-a-half-year deal with la Real and will complete his first training with his new teammates on Wednesday.
Miguel Angel Moya has been with Atletico Madrid since 2014 but his playing time with Los Colchineros has been significantly limited over the past couple of season with the emergence of Jan Oblak who managed to establish himself as the undisputed No.1 choice for Diego Simeone.
Moya could make his debut for Real Sociedad on Thursday already with Real Sociedad travelling to Real Betis.
La Real can be found at 6/4 betting odds to emerge victorious from the midweek fixture.
