Real Madrid are desperate to replace Cristiano Ronaldo and may look to exploit any Financial Fair Play issues Paris Saint-Germain may face to prise Neymar away from the French champions, according to Sport.
This saga has been going back and forth for a while now, and once again the Spanish outlet revives the link, claiming the Champions League holders are ready to splash €300million to put the Brazilian superstar on their books.
Another player that is apparently on the radar of Real president Florentino Perez is Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi, according to Don Balon. However, the club have been warned by the striker’s wife and agent Wanda Nara that the Nerazzurri wouldn’t be prepared to listen to any offers below the sum of €100million.
Both of these reports rather contradict one by Marca, who claim Perez is quite comfortable with Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale being the main attacking threat in the team, and that it’s actually Julen Lopetegui who wants to sign a striker. The former Spain manager would, however, be happy with a signing of a lower profile.
