Real Valladolid have completed the signing of 19-year-old defender Yuri Berchiche from Tottenham for an undisclosed fee.
Berchiche failed to make an impact at White Hart Lane since joining the club in 2007.
A brief statement on the club’s official website reads: “Yuri Berchiche has joined Real Valladolid on a permanent transfer.
“The Spanish defender joined our Academy from Athletic Bilbao in June 2007 and last season spent three months on loan at Cheltenham Town.
“We wish Yuri every success for the future.”
