Real Madrid are interested in signing Donny van de Beek from Ajax this summer, according to Marca.
Ajax have achieved fantastic results in this season’s Champions League, by fist knocking out holders Real Madrid, then one of the other competition favorites in Juventus, and now they’ve beaten Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 in the first leg of the semifinal in London. Their players have consequently become hot property. Frenkie de Jong has already agreed a move to Barcelona, Matthijs de Ligt is constantly being talked about, and now van de Beek, who scored the winning goal in north London, is apparently a target for Real.
Head coach Zinedine Zidane is pushing for the club to sign Paul Pogba of Manchester United, but the club have their reservations about the World Cup winner and they see van de Beek as a good alternative, judging that a sum of around €60 million would be enough to land the 22-year-old midfielder.
