Talk Sport are today reporting that Real Madrid could make a shock move for Manchester United winger Nani.
The Portuguese international still have two years left on his current dealabut has not agreed terms with the Red Devils to extend his time at the club.
It is being suggested that a figure just shy of £20 million is what Jose Mourinho will offer United in a bid to sign one of their star players.
Nani had an inconsistent season at Old Trafford and seemed to go down in the pecking order for a starting eleven position – behind Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia.
The La Liga Champions seem to be on the lookout for a new winger and Mourinho could be confident about bringing one of his fellow countrymen to the Bernabeu.
Also, Nani has the same agent as Real star man Cristiano Ronaldo so he could persuade him to join the Spanish top flight.
Big spending Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala also seem keen on the 25-year-old and should they come in with a big offer, it could prove to be too much for Real to match.
It is certainly a massive story to keep an eye on in this summer transfer window.
