Real winning chase for Hungarian starlet

Spanish newspaper Marca is reporting that Real Madrid are in pole position to sign Hungarian midfielder Matyas Tajti.

It was their arch rivals Barcelona that first spotted the talented footballer and he subsequently underwent a trial at Camp Nou in December 2013.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid are confident they can win the chase for the player’s signature given that he is currently a member of Ferenc Puskas Football Academy.

Namely, los Blancos have an agreement with the Hungarian youth academy and are, therefore, expected to complete the signing of Matyas Tajti.

The 15-year-old has spent several days at Real’s training camp in Valdebebas and his agents are already in talks with the Spanish side over a switch to Santiago Bernabeu.

Any agreement will have to wait until 2nd June, when the youngster is set to turn 16. Tajti will have another chance to impress his potential employers as Real Madrid are set to take part in the Puskas Cup in April.
