Jose Ernesto Sosa is fed up with his lack of match action at Bayern Munich. The Argentine midfielder hasn’t been able to secure a place in the regular starting XI and also knows his club will undoubtedly strengthen its squad during the next transfer period. “It’s a shame, but I’m realistic and I know I will have to leave when things don’t change.”
The 24-year-old Argentinan joined Bayern from Estudiantes two years ago, and was considered a huge talent. But, so far he hasn’t lived up to the high expectations at the Allianz Arena. Sosa only played 35 Bundesliga matches during his spell with Bayern. This season he only made three league appearances.
Now, Sosa is fed up with with waiting and he wants to look further than Bayern’s bench.
This summer, Cologne made him an offer but at that moment Sosa preferred to stay with Bayern. “The season was already underway, and I didn’t thought it was a good idea back then,” Sosa told Bild.
“I was given the chance but I didn’t took it. But I don’t complain because everyone at Bayern has always treated me fair.
“But I want to play and I think it’s best for me to look for a new club.”
