If Real Madrid manage to secure the coveted Brazilian forward, it will deal a hard blow to Barcelona. Sport now claims that Real have worked out the financial side of the deal which they expect will not be rejected by Paris Saint-Germain.
It has been suggested that things at PSG are not as bad for Neymar as they used to be, but Tuchel stayed true to his word and did not let the Brazilian play against Toulouse. In addition, Sunday Mirror claims that the French club is eyeing Wilfied Zaha from Crystal Palace as a replacement for Neymar.
At the same time, Barcelona are trying to persuade Dembele to join PSG as part of the deal for Neymar, with Mundo Deportivo claiming the Catalans think PSG do not wish to sell them the 27-year-old forward, as one their offers has already been refused.
According to Sport, Real Madrid’s main scout Juni Calafat is off to Paris to negotiate the deal of the season with PSG’s sporting director Leonardo Araujo and they are hoping to finalise the transaction as soon as possible this week.
