Things are heating up for the final day of the summer transfer window in most of European leagues. One of the more interesting deals is coming from Germany, as Ante Rebic is set for a move away from Eintracht Frankfurt. His club has confirmed that he will leave the club to join AC Milan on a two-year loan deal.
The interesting part is that Andre Silva will go the other way around, leaving Rosonerri for Eintracht, as the Portuguese is supposed to replace the Croat. It has not been an easy summer for Eintracht, after their loss of Luka Jovic and Sebastian Haller. Now they are losing Rebic as well, but that is less of a surprise, considering his behavior in the past month or so.
During August, it was announced from Frankfurt that Rebic will stay despite the interests of other clubs, which the Croatia international did not really like. He was even criticized by coach Adi Hutter following a poor performance, saying that if he wished to stay at the club, he would have to show it on the pitch. He got a straight red card in the first half of his next match and that was a signal that things were not going to get better.
