Harry Redknapp has revealed he wants to sign West Ham’s Scott Parker, but admits that the transfer looks unlikely.
Spurs boss says there has been no contact with West Ham regarding the Hammers’ star.
“We haven’t made any move for him,” said Redknapp.
“Midfield is the only area where I don’t have many ¬options, we are really short there. I like Parker, but he ¬belongs to West Ham.
“He will also be 31 next birthday and they will want £15million. Daniel (Levy) wouldn’t buy players of that age, on big wages with no sell-on.”
The boss also admitted some players were becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of playing time.
“The likes of Robbie Keane, Nico Kranjcar, Jamie O’Hara and David Bentley want to be out there playing and it is a difficult one for sure. They get a bit low.”
