Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that a number of English clubs are interested in Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Russian international has been linked with a move away from Spurs after failing to make an impact at White Hart Lane.
Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg are reportedly among the clubs interested in the striker.
“I think Zenit have been on, but I don’t think it’s true that he’s turned it down. I’d be surprised,” said Redknapp.
“I think they’ve made contact with the chairman and there’s been one or two English clubs interested as well.”
