A report from the Sun is suggesting that Queens Park Rangers could look to bring Peter Crouch back to Loftus Road in the closing days of this January transfer window.
Crouch was on Rangers’ books earlier in his career and of course worked with Harry Redknapp at both Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur, so it could be a move that suits both parties.
At the moment, the England international is on Stoke City’s books and although he is playing well and starting on a regular basis in the English Premier League, he might like the chance to play under Redknapp again.
Tony Pulis is sure to do all he can to keep Crouch at the club as well, especially so late-on in the transfer window. If he went, then Pulis might not be able to get another front-man in.
The striker might be just the sort of player that QPR need and the current manager certainly knows how to get the best out of him.
The 31-year-old has scored goals in the Premier League all his career and he might just provide that bit of quality needed to keep the West Londoners in this top flight.
We shall see over the next couple of days.
