(GSM) – Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has expressed his frustration at the club’s calm transfer activity over the summer.
Spurs have only clinched the signing of Brazilian midfielder Sandro from Internacional. However, Redknapp is keen to add to his squad to continue their progress after managing to break into the top-four.
Redknapp told reporters: “We are nowhere near at the moment.
“We could do with more experience in the squad and I know the two or three players I want.
“Those players could make the difference and they are not expensive – we need them to push on and keep improving.
“We are not going to win the Premier League as it stands, but we have a chance if we get the players I’m after.”
Spurs have welcomed the in-form former Barcelona winger Giovani dos Santos back to the club after the Mexico international spent last season on loan at Galatasaray.
